The Beginning

I started my world today, I got a nice beach for making glass later, and a super flat landscape off the coast with mountains in the distance, perfect.

There’s some squid too. That’ll be useful in the future. First thing I like to do is get some wool and wood for a bed. I’ve started sleeping through my first night because I don’t like just mining or whatever for 10 minutes cooped up in my house. I will make a large room for later in my house, though2011-05-08_12.14.00.png2011-05-08_12.19.05.png.

Well, now it’s time to look for a place to build.

This’ll be a great place for a full house later. That cave could be good for mining too…

Cool, a lake. That’ll be useful as well.

Here’s a nice spot. Time to dig it out.

Done! At least until I make a good pickaxe.

Now to craft planks, which will then be crafted into sticks, which will then be crafted into the pickaxes. And I also have to make my bed.

There! Pretty nice first house, if I do say so myself.

I like to put a lot of screens into my entries, obviously, so this’ll be signoff for today. Tomorrow’s entry will be about the big room I said I was going to make earlier. Until then, see you later!

Introduction

Hi, I'm danlegoman100, and I will be taking you through my adventures in my world in Minecraft. I decided to create this blog because I've had a lot of fun with Minecraft, been playing it for about a month. I've had a lot of funny, angering, and rewarding things happen, and so I decided to share some of these with the world. Now, I actually took 492 screenshots before I decided to do this, so many of these first few entries actually happened a while ago. But anyways, it begins now.

This is A Diary of a Minecraft Man.
